Welcome to exam-mate.

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of exam-mate.com, including its digital educational products, subscriptions, online services, AI features, and other resources.

By creating an account, accessing the website, purchasing a product or service, or using exam-mate, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. ABOUT EXAM-MATE

exam-mate is an international online educational platform providing digital resources and services for students, teachers, parents, schools, and other educational users.

Services may include:

• Yearly Past Papers
• Topical Past Papers / Topical Questions
• MCQ Past Papers and online MCQ services
• Build Exam
• Topical eBooks and other digital educational materials
• AI Exam Prediction
• AI Exam Marker
• AI Revision Tutor
• AI packages, tokens, credits, and digital add-ons
• Other educational products and services available through exam-mate

Features, products, and availability may be updated from time to time.

 

2. USER ACCOUNTS

Some exam-mate services require a registered account.

Users are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information;
• keeping login details secure;
• activities carried out through their account; and
• notifying exam-mate if they believe their account has been accessed without permission.

Accounts, subscriptions, and access rights may not be sold, transferred, or shared without authorisation.

Different features and permissions may be available to Students, Teachers, Parents, and Schools.

Where accounts are linked or managed by a parent, teacher, or school, authorised users may be able to access certain account, educational, or activity information.

 

3. FREE AND PAID ACCESS

exam-mate may provide limited free access to selected content or features.

Paid subscriptions and purchases may provide access to additional content, newer materials, digital products, AI services, or other features according to the plan purchased.

The content, duration, limitations, and features included in each plan are displayed on the relevant product or subscription page.

Unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout, exam-mate subscriptions do not automatically renew.

Access to subscription-only features may end when the subscription expires.

Purchasing one service does not automatically provide access to another service unless the relevant plan specifically states that it is included.

 

4. PURCHASES AND PAYMENTS

Prices, currencies, applicable taxes, and total payable amounts are displayed during the purchasing process.

Payments may be processed by authorised third-party payment providers, banks, card networks, or payment gateways.

exam-mate serves customers internationally and may use business and payment arrangements in different jurisdictions, including Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia.

The payment method, currency, merchant, or billing information applicable to a particular transaction may be displayed during checkout, on the invoice, or on the payment receipt.

Where an approximate equivalent amount in another currency is displayed, it is provided for information only. The final amount charged may depend on the selected payment method, transaction currency, bank, or payment provider.

 

5. DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND EBOOKS

Digital products, including eBooks and other educational materials, are provided for permitted personal, educational, or institutional use.

Purchased digital content may be associated with the Customer’s account and may contain identifying information or digital watermarks.

Unless expressly authorised, users may not unlawfully copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, publish, upload, or commercially exploit exam-mate digital materials.

 

6. BUILD EXAM AND GENERATED MATERIALS

Certain exam-mate services allow users to select questions and create exams, worksheets, PDFs, or other educational resources.

Generated materials are subject to the access rights, subscription conditions, usage limits, and intellectual property provisions applicable to the relevant service.

Users must not use these features to unlawfully reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit protected content.

 

7. AI SERVICES

exam-mate may provide AI-powered educational features, including marking assistance, exam predictions, explanations, and revision support.

AI-generated outputs are provided as educational support and may contain errors or incomplete information.

They should not be treated as official examination results, guaranteed exam predictions, or decisions made by an examination board, school, university, or other educational authority.

Users remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated information before relying on it.

AI services may be subject to package, token, credit, or usage limits.

 

8. ACCEPTABLE USE

Users must not:

• gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or content;
• bypass subscription, payment, or access restrictions;
• share account access without authorisation;
• unlawfully copy or distribute protected content;
• interfere with the operation or security of exam-mate;
• use automated systems to scrape or extract substantial amounts of exam-mate content without permission;
• upload malicious or harmful software or content; or
• use exam-mate for unlawful purposes.

exam-mate may restrict or suspend access where there is reasonable evidence of misuse, fraud, security risk, or serious violation of these Terms.

 

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, exam-mate’s website, software, design, databases, organisation of educational resources, original materials, graphics, and other proprietary content are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

Purchasing a subscription or digital product provides a limited right to use the relevant service or material. It does not transfer ownership of exam-mate intellectual property.

Third-party examination questions, trademarks, names, logos, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.

References to examination boards, qualifications, schools, universities, or other organisations are used for identification and educational purposes where appropriate.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, exam-mate is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected with any examination board or other third-party organisation mentioned on the website.

 

10. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

exam-mate aims to keep its services available and functioning reliably.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, internet or hosting failures, third-party services, security issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may update, improve, replace, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

Where a change materially affects a paid service, exam-mate will take reasonable steps to protect applicable Customer rights.

 

11. EDUCATIONAL DISCLAIMER

exam-mate provides educational resources and tools to support learning and exam preparation.

Use of exam-mate does not guarantee any particular examination grade, academic result, admission outcome, or other educational result.

Students and other users remain responsible for their own study, preparation, submissions, and examination decisions.

PRIVACY POLICY

12. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you use exam-mate, we may collect:

• name and contact information;
• account information and user role;
• school or organisation information, where applicable;
• subscription, purchase, and transaction information;
• learning activity and use of exam-mate services;
• files, answers, questions, or other content submitted or uploaded;
• information relating to AI services and interactions;
• device, browser, IP address, cookies, and usage information; and
• communications with exam-mate.

We collect information reasonably necessary to provide, operate, secure, and improve our services and to meet applicable requirements.

 

13. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Personal information may be used to:

• create and manage accounts;
• provide products, subscriptions, and services;
• process and maintain transaction records;
• provide educational and AI-powered features;
• provide customer support;
• communicate important account or service information;
• improve exam-mate;
• prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents; and
• comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

 

14. PAYMENTS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Payment information may be processed by authorised third-party payment providers, banks, card networks, or payment gateways according to their own privacy and security practices.

exam-mate does not normally receive or store complete payment card details where these are processed directly by an authorised payment provider.

We may also use trusted service providers for hosting, communications, analytics, security, AI, and other technical services.

exam-mate does not sell personal information.

 

15. AI AND USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT

Information, answers, files, or other content submitted to AI-powered features may be processed as necessary to provide the requested service.

Users should avoid submitting unnecessary personal, confidential, or sensitive information when using AI features.

 

16. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

exam-mate may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, improve security, understand website usage, and improve services.

Where required by applicable law, consent will be requested before non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used.

 

17. DATA STORAGE, SECURITY AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

exam-mate serves users internationally and may use service providers and infrastructure in different countries.

Personal information may therefore be processed or stored outside the user’s country of residence.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for service, account, transaction, security, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

exam-mate uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

 

18. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND ACCOUNT DELETION

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information or withdraw consent where applicable.

Users may request deletion of their exam-mate account and associated personal information, subject to information that exam-mate is required or permitted to retain.

Account deletion may result in loss of access to subscriptions, purchased services, saved work, and other account-related content.

 

19. CHILDREN AND YOUNG USERS

exam-mate provides educational services that may be used by students, including users under the age of majority in their country.

Where required by applicable law, use of certain services or processing of personal information may require authorisation or consent from a parent, guardian, school, or other authorised person.

Parents, teachers, schools, and other authorised account managers must use student information only for legitimate and authorised purposes.

DELIVERY & REFUND POLICY

20. DIGITAL DELIVERY

exam-mate provides digital educational products and online services. Physical delivery is not normally required.

After successful payment, delivery may take place through:

• activation of a subscription or service;
• access to purchased educational content;
• addition of purchased eBooks or digital materials to the Customer’s account;
• generation or availability of digital files; or
• allocation of AI packages, tokens, credits, or other digital entitlements.

Most purchases are activated automatically after successful payment.

Some school, institutional, or manually processed orders may require additional processing time.

 

21. DELIVERY PROBLEMS

If payment has been completed but the purchased product or service has not been activated or delivered correctly, the Customer should contact exam-mate.

After verification, exam-mate will take appropriate action, which may include activating access, restoring the service, providing the purchased content, or issuing a refund where appropriate.

Customers should contact us before making another payment for the same order.

 

22. REFUND POLICY

Customers may request a refund for an eligible subscription or online service within 24 hours of the original purchase.

Refund requests submitted after this period will normally not be accepted unless required by applicable law or where there is a verified billing, delivery, or technical problem for which a refund is appropriate.

Renewals and additional purchases are treated as separate transactions for refund purposes.

 

23. EBOOKS AND DIGITAL CONTENT

Due to the nature of digital content, eBooks and other downloadable digital materials are normally non-refundable once access, delivery, or download has been provided.

This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights that may apply.

 

24. AI PACKAGES, TOKENS AND CREDITS

Refunds for AI packages, tokens, credits, or similar digital entitlements may be requested within 24 hours of purchase provided they have not been used.

Once tokens, credits, or other digital entitlements have been used, the corresponding purchase is normally non-refundable.

 

25. DUPLICATE OR INCORRECT PAYMENTS

If a Customer is charged more than once for the same intended purchase, or an incorrect amount is charged because of a verified payment or technical error, the Customer should contact exam-mate.

After verification, any amount determined to have been incorrectly or duplicately charged will be refunded as appropriate.

 

26. REQUESTING AND PROCESSING A REFUND

Refund requests should be sent to:

Please include the email address associated with the exam-mate account, the order or payment reference where available, the product or service purchased, and the reason for the request.

Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, and country.

Currency conversion differences or fees independently applied by banks, card issuers, or payment providers are outside exam-mate’s control.

DISTANCE SALES CONTRACT

27. CUSTOMER AND ORDER INFORMATION

The Customer is the individual, parent, teacher, school, organisation, or other entity purchasing a product or service through exam-mate.

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate account, contact, and billing information.

The specific product or service, subscription period, price, currency, applicable taxes, and other relevant conditions are displayed before purchase.

 

28. FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT

The Distance Sales Contract is formed electronically when the Customer completes the checkout process and submits an order creating an obligation to pay.

Before completing the purchase, the Customer is given the opportunity to review the relevant product or service information, price, and applicable contractual information.

 

29. DIGITAL DELIVERY AND PERFORMANCE

The products and services covered by this Contract are primarily digital.

Performance may begin through activation of account access, provision of digital content, activation of subscription features, generation of digital materials, or allocation of digital credits or entitlements.

Certain immediately delivered digital content or services may be excluded from a statutory withdrawal right where permitted by applicable law and where any legally required consent has been obtained.

 

30. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS AND CONSUMER RIGHTS

exam-mate serves customers internationally and may operate through business and payment arrangements in different jurisdictions, including Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia.

Applicable privacy, contractual, withdrawal, refund, and consumer rights may vary depending on the Customer’s location, the relevant transaction, merchant entity, product or service, and mandatory laws of the applicable jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any mandatory privacy, data protection, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Where applicable law provides rights greater than exam-mate’s voluntary policies, those mandatory rights will apply.

 

31. ACCEPTANCE

By completing a purchase, the Customer confirms that they have had the opportunity to review the relevant product or service information, price, and contractual information before placing the order.

Where separate consent is legally required for immediate delivery or activation of digital content or services, such consent may be obtained separately during checkout.

 

32. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, exam-mate is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law or limits mandatory consumer rights.

 

33. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

exam-mate may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations of these Terms, fraudulent or unauthorised activity, misuse of services or content, security risks, or legal or regulatory requirements.

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, users may be given an opportunity to resolve the issue.

 

34. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

exam-mate may update these Terms and policies when its services, technology, business operations, or applicable requirements change.

The current version will be published on this page.
